Claire's Shawl

We designed this shawl especially to make a shawl that really works for the Outlander-style:
It's a very flat triangle with extra long 'wings', giving you the possibility to tie knots and wrap it around you!

You can wear it all kinds of ways, it will always come out stylish!
Wear it the way Claire does, with a knot on the back under the point, or use the fibula (pin) that comes with the shawl to close it in front or on your shoulder.

Details

• Size: App. 200 cm / 79 inches 'wing-span' (will stretch to at least 220 cm / 86 inches) and easy 60 cm / 23 inches 'high' from neckline to point.
• Materials: Made from 100% unbleached & un-coloured Swedish pels-wool, combined with Danish and New Zealandic sheep's wool. It will get softer and softer in use.
• Care instructions: Can be washed in the washing machine - put in a duvet cover and wash on 35 ºC/95 ºF on the delicates program. After washing, hang your shawl on a clothing hanger to dry. Change its position on the hanger every now and then to prevent it from getting 'shoulder' from the hanger.
